- The Voice Foundation
- Pinterest - Voice Buzz : I'm a Pinterest geek, I just loooove it and now I have created a board just for my students!
- Sheet Music Source - Bookman : This wonderful local bookstore (Orange, CA) always has a nice sheet music selection and they will find you anything you need. Just make sure you let Paul Jr know that Katherine Scott sent you!
- Sheet Music Source - Music Theater Anthologies : This is the greatest set of anthology books. I use them day in and day out.
- Vocal Anatomy Video - Larynx : This is a fascinating video that illustrates the way that air is utilized by the vocal folds to initiate phonation. His description of the the stretching of guitar strings is a bit off base, but just imagine that he says "the damping of guitar strings" and you'll have it. Also, do enjoy his lovely accent!
- Voice Issues - Break : There is no need to have a break in your voice. Proper training of the voice is the way to stop sounding like 3 different people when you sing. This is a great video that shows what a break looks like. Fascinating!
- Voice Issues - Medical : This cutting edge team of laryngologists and speech therapists is a great resource for medical vocal issues.
- Voice Issues - Public Speaking : Great book on how to use your voice for more effective speaking! Wonderfully, it also happens to be written by my mother, the brilliant Kate Peters.
